Hello Everyone,

On behalf of the Club, hope you are all well.

The Club will start again on Friday 8th September 2023 at Oak Tree Leisure Centre with the usual 2 sessions.

Under 13’s – 6.00 – 8.00 pm,            Over 13’s – 7.45 – 10.00 pm.      For the first few weeks we ask you to attend session as last season..

The Club has not increased any fees since 2018. However, there have now been increase in costs for Venue Hire, Badminton England membership and The Club has made a loss for last 2 years or so. In order to keep the Club sustainable here are the new charges.

The Weekly subscription will now be £5.00 per person per session

The Annual membership will now be £10.00 for the season.

New Shirts can be ordered and these will cost £20 for small sizes or £25 for larger sizes. There are limited number of shirts available so please speak to Steve at the Club. There will be 2 opportunities for shirts before Xmas and 2 opportunities to place any orders in the new year.

New rackets available to purchase at £25.00 each.

No or minimal Mobile phone use – we request parents and players for their support on enforcing this

Players are here to play badminton and enjoy themselves. The expectation is that you keep screen use to a minimum, focusing on getting involved and engaging with other club members and making friends. We look to parents to support this approach.

Welfare officers – we have Richard Smith and Eilidh Davidson dedicated for this role. Please speak with either if you or your child has any welfare related concerns.

Finally, as the season gets underway we will be arranging matches and competitions. We will let you know as these are confirmed.
