About Membership

Mansfield Junior Badminton Club is one of the best clubs within the Nottinghamshire badminton field with Nottinghamshire itself being a very successful county within England. Our club is for juniors aged between 7 to 17 who love to play badminton. We accept players at any level with a view to development through the enjoyment of the sport, although those who are new to badminton may find the club standard a challenge.

The Benefits

We think there are lots of benefits of joining our club…but maybe we’re biased. However club members can expect to:

  • Meet new friends in their own age group and groups above and below their age
  • Learn to play badminton
  • Keep fit at least one night per week
  • Engage in competitive sport at inter-club level and possibly progress to county level
  • Build self esteem through participation and success in sport

Club Fees

There is an annual membership charge of £5.00 payable on your first session of the season. Then weekly subs, that are paid on club nights, are £4.00 per session. The fees collected are used to pay for our venue and cover adhoc expenses like the end of season prize-giving when we have a celebration for the players.
